With a difference performance i did on friday i have also created a puppet like sculpture. I really like this as its unique and i am using the bottle as a stand for the puppet sculpture but they work well as a sculpture together.
I'm Emma and I am studying Interactive Art at Manchester Metropoliton University. My 1st, 2nd and Foundation years were at North Nottinghamshire College. Let my creativity carry on.

quick sculpture
From the performance that i did on friday i have decided that i will try and create some quick sculptures from the experience off being a sculpture myself.
As i was draped with fabric i started to drape the objects i have with the flannel i had.
Personally i am not a fan so in my next performance i will have minimal fabric.

Fridays Experimets
After talking with jon at college i have a way to make my sculpture into performance. That is though me being a live sculpture. I sat on a chair in my over alls and had materials round me and 2 students made me into a sculpture they had to move me i would do it if they asked me to. Here are some of the images from that first one.

experiments
As the corks have took to the ink so well i wanted to try and create a pattern on them and see what other patterns people made to try and put it back together.
What i did was put all of he cork face down on a seat of glass and get someone to put them together. As you can see they put them all he same way where i alternated them to make to original pattern
And here is the patter underneath
Out of all the materials i have brought in i have also got an old alarm clock which i dismantled.
What i liked best was the individual clock hands and the bells.
Then went back to making little sculptures. And i rather like this one as its small and delicate.
Carrying on from the window photos i thought i could put that piece along with the glass front of the clock to create another window to view something inside the clock. Also i thought it could stand up so i reattached the legs. I added in some glass beads and i liked the effect and thought but it was too dark to see anything that was inside.
I then decided to try corks which again looked alright but was missing something. I just don't know what.
In order to try and get more light into the sculpture i took away the window to open up the space and tried adding more material inside. This one has pins in and the glass beads.
