I decided i wanted to go to this light waves festival that was at the salford quays all i knew was it was a light show and would be better seen in the darker hours. As we turn up the first thing we saw was these what looked like paper boats with lights on in the water and they were changing light. We later found out you could go onto the website and change them yourself which i thought was amazing! and we stood for awhile longer. This one was the best.
The image below is of a peice where wire was wraped around 2 posts and you could strum them and the viberations from the wire created sounds as there where mini microphones attached to individual wire at one end.
