experiment

so i have decided that i want to try and make some little balls to try and figure out how begin to make a circular fabric object. First i needed to see how i wanted to sew the different fabrics together either following the lines of the fabric or not at all and i liked following the lines. Then i looked at if i wanted the stitching close or a little further apart and i like it separated. I also chose to use wool to sew these pieces together so you could see the stitch better and it looked like patchwork.

I thought that the easiest way to make a ball was to get some fabric and scrunch it up and put a few stitches through it then start adding coloured fabric and proper stitches, and continuing. The top 2 images have fabric underneath and the bottom 2 have bubble  wrap done in the exact same way. This was to give it a different feel which i liked, could i use anything else though??

This is just to show how small the balls are
