Here are some videos i have made so i can put them together to create my final video of the installation, i haven't managed to find the other videos that i have used so heres 3.

This is my final video i have made 2 slightly different so that i can have different images on miltipul screens.

Mind map

So that we can all decide what we want to do and where to go with the installation and my ideas. I have decided to stick with the feelings idea with trying to make someone feel a certain emotion so I'm going to have to research into what makes you feel what, different smells ect.

Listening to kim another student talk about her idea of disorders i have thought about emotions and trying to get the viewer to feel an emotion with either colour and words or just colour or a spastic object for example fire makes people warmer apparently. But that has just come from me listening to her ideas but i think it would be a good idea to do.

I have tried creating some videos of a mini explosion but it didnt work. I tried multipul of times to get it right but wasnt happening i was disapinted but i think i am going to try again.

Reasreach

Love this i could set this up and run this forward and backwards. I could add different things in aswell like glitter feathers ect.

I could film something like this in slow motion at a different angle though so it is level with the floor/paper so i could get the paint rippling up.

I could drip paint onto someone sat up right and video it from different angles and havve a close up of their face. 

I could drip paint onto 4 different people and only record their facial expresions and link them together in one video showing only 1/4 of their face and matching them up to make one.

Im just playing around with the effects in premier.
This one i have slowed down each video.

This one i have tried with a compound blur effect and i rather like it aswell im getting less keen on how slow its going though so i might need to speed it up for the future.

Stop motion

Here i have looped one of my stop motion videos and played some in reverce and it looks rather good.

Little installation idea

After me and Chloe realised we could use the macs we decided to use the stop motion that I had been playing with a few weeks ago. We tried to make the same faces to then place over one another to then create something different and odd this is the out come. 

I really like this as it's different and would look good if it was an installation and people could create their own so that it could be overlaid with someone else's.

Experiments

Once we had realised we were in an Apple Mac room we decided to see how/if it would work on an Apple Mac. It didn't work as well as on the iPads but I think that is because on the Mac the photobooth doesn't show on the whole screen it's boarded where as the camera on the iPad you can see on the full screen. 

Experiments

After looking at the different spaces I could use to project the furtive that we had already made, we got paired up and got asked who wanted to use a camera and/or a projector and that was everyone so me and Chloe thought let be different so we are trying to use iPads to start with to create weird angles and for people to interact.

In these next 2 images you can see that the iPads are at different angles and that Chloe's arm is very distorted and half of its missing. I like the use of the different angles and thought that if some how we could get them to stand up and have a few in a circle then that would be interesting to walk around but we were not able to do that.

However another student said we could borrow her iPad and we decided to lay them on the floor so that the cameras were in different places which ment that each camera would see everything at different angles again. I didn't like this one as much because you had to lean over them.

Here we managed to hat and up the 3 iPads using my bag at different angles to see what it would look like compared to the 1st time with only 2. This worked well as you can see that I have my arms open and the iPads extends my arms. I do still like this idea of distorting the faces.

Test video installation

Using the space we have been shown i have come up with a few ideas of where i can put an installation. We have videoed some spaces around the college or people in the spaces around college to use and to get used to the cameras and have a play.

I have thought that i could have a projection of a video on the stairs either from a bird angle video or from a normal video so you would see it as you were approaching the stairs. 

I also thought i could have a time lapse video, a live video on the stairs so a camera is filming who is walking past and a few seconds later it projects that image onto the wall. This lefts people interact with the installation which is what i liked about some of the artists i have seen. 

Also i have thought about projecting a video onto a few tables which have been put together and some have been taken away so that there are gaps. I think this would give a different look to a flat screen or surface that a video would normally be shown or projected on.
